Ein Einblick in die Werkstatt des hl. Hieronymus, 4. Edition

Prof. em. Dr. Widu-Wolfgang Ehlers (FU Berlin) und a. o. Prof. Dr. Wilhelm Tauwinkl (Universität Bukarest, Rumänien) hielten zwischen dem 24. und  27. April 2017 auf Einladung von Prof. Dr. Michael Fieger im Rahmen des „Swiss-European Mobility Programme“ (Movetia)  mehrere Vorlesungen und eine Seminarveranstaltung. Im Mittelpunkt des Interesses stand die interdisziplinäre Lektüre von Ijob 42,1-6 (hebräischer, griechischer und lateinischer Text) unter besonderer Berücksichtigung der Frage, warum Hieronymus im Vorwort zu Ijob die Behauptung aufstellt, dass der Hauptteil dieses Buches in Hexametern, die in griechischer und lateinischer Poesie vorkommen, verfasst sei.

Within the frame of the Swiss-European Mobility Programme of Movetia (the Swiss agency for exchange and mobility) Prof. Dr. Michael Fieger invited Em. Prof. Dr. Widu-Wolfgang Ehlers (FU Berlin) and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Wilhelm Tauwinkl (University of Bucharest, Romania) to teach courses and a seminary at the Faculty of Theology Chur (Switzerland), between the 24th – 27th of April. The theme was an interdisciplinary reading of Job 42:1-6 in its Hebrew, Greek and Latin versions, with the aim to discover why Jerome is claiming, in his Preface to Job, that the main part of this book is written in hexameters, similar to the Greek and Latin ones.
